Trip to El Nido, Palawan 2014

My trip to El Nido, Palawan was fun and crazy from September 17 - 26, 2014. A friend tagged me along and he is still now on a backpacking trip around South East Asia. Flying from Cebu to Puerto Princesa takes one hour and we rode a van going to El Nido town for 4-5 hours. Palawan is called the Philippine's last frontier.

Inside the van, we met other backpackers from different nationalities who were into a month-long or a year-long trip. I am just amazed how easy for foreigners to go on a backpacking trip. Mostly they were around my age like from 24 to 26. I had fun listening to their stories and I could sense their excitement and freedom. They were backpacking around the Philippines in Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, Manila and some other islands.

I have several photos during the trip that I was so lazy that the photos were on auto mode. Hoping you will enjoy!

Burger and mango shake for me
Reggae nights and dancing

Jump shot at Nacpan beach

Our lunch! Yummy :D
We rented an underwater camera, that's me! Snorkeling time!
Some underwater shots I took
Palawan is really nice for snorkeling and diving
I miss El Nido already! It was a nice experience because I was able to socialize with other people which I was hesitant to do so. I never counted the days when I was there but time flies so fast. Definitely, another place worth coming back! As the backpackers said, it is really more fun in the Philippines. Yes, they enjoyed the stay here. :D

I'm bitten by the travel bug! ;)
